The middle schoolers have been creating paintings based on the Vermont artist Sabra Field. They also studied the Japanese art of cutting paper, Kirigami. The younger classes have been studying the work of the book illustrator, Eric Carle and creating “roller” paintings based on the books, “Draw Me a Star”, and ” A House for Hermit Crab”.

The 8th grade created coil clay sculptures of all shapes and sizes. No two looked alike.

The younger classes are working on shape and symmetry. The whole school will be working on art work for the diocese in future weeks that celebrates children and life!
